A new feature for safety to be used on Facebook Messenger has been announced. This feature will help many Facebook users as it will prevent them from potential interaction with Internet foster or scammers without compromising their privacy policy. This new Facebook messager feature is going to be used to educate Facebook users under the age of 18 to be conscious when interacting with older people online that they do not know. This will prevent interaction between older and younger people who are not already connected to the platform. Frequently, we interact with people online that we feel we know them and we can trust them but in reality they are fosters.

It is very difficult to identify such fake Facebook account. The new  Facebook messenger safety notice will help educate in ways to spot such scammers and take action to prevent a costly interaction.

“These feature shows a great integration of the technical tools that will help curb bad behaviour on the platform, while also reminding people of their control over their accounts,” said Stephen Balkam, CEO of FAMILY ONLINE SAFETY. “It is important to use language that empowers people to make wise decisions and think more critically about who they are interacting with online. We are especially glad to see this reflected in the thoughtful approach for young users”
